Heat Pump
A heat pump hot water system works by a refrigerant gas contained inside an evaporator absorbing heat from the ambient atmosphere. The refrigerant is then compressed causing the refrigerant to heat. The heated refrigerant then transfers heat into the water of the tank either through pumped circulation or tank wrap/coil immersion heat exchange.
The process then repeats until all the water stored in the tank is heated to a full sixty degrees. Victorian Air Conditioning Services offers a range of hot water heat pumps including a refrigerant cycling split system or a refrigerant cycling all-in-one heat pump.

Split Heat Pump -
200L
The refrigerant cycling heat pump’s heat exchanger is in the water tank resulting in less energy use due to heat loss. It can also operate under lower outdoor temperature conditions.
All-In-One Heat Pump -
270L
The Emerald All-In-One Heat Pump offers a stylish design and significant cost savings for your hot water needs. With its compact form, it seamlessly fits into any residential setting.
Tired of high energy bills? Heat pumps offer reliable hot water 24/7 with significant energy savings (50-80%). Enjoy endless hot water without relying on the weather!
Slash your energy use by up to 80% !
Beat The Rising Cost of Electricity Slash your energy bills with Hot Water Heat Pump
- Heat Pumps draw air in through a fan to an evaporator where the heat in the air is absorbed by a refrigerant.
- The warm air turns the refrigerant from liquid to gas.
- The gas refrigerant is compressed, causing the pressure and temperature to increase.
- This hot vapour flows through a heat exchanger to heat the water and cool the refrigerant.
- The liquid refrigerant then flows into an expansion valve to reduce its pressure, allowing it to cool and enter the evaporator to repeat the cycle.
